My family and I moved to Orange
County almost 30 years ago for
the same reasons so many of
our new neighbors do; its a great
place to live, work, raise kids and
retire.
There is no doubt that we can
do better. The decisions made
by leaders of the past have
created a transportation and education infrastructure deficit
that must be corrected before we can do the proper future planning that
will ensure a brighter future for our citizens.
As your county commissioner, I will:
• Bring more accountability to our transportation funding and ask the
tough questions about how and where our transportation budget is
being spent and why our District hasn’t gotten its fair share.
• Work with our school officials and county planning officials to build
schools AHEAD of growth instead of always playing “Catch-up”.
We can and should build schools faster, more efficiently and more
frugally.
• Ensure that growth and development decisions are made that will
protect and enhance our quality of life; lessen the burden on our
transportation infrastructure, protect our environment and allow for
school construction that will meet today’s needs as well as our school
needs in the future.
I hope I can count on your support. Together we will make Orange
County an even better place to live.
