To Members of the Ocoee School Advisory Board 07-10-06:
I have researched the City of Ocoee's options as it relates to our needs from
the Orange County School Board.
I have concluded by the hours of calls and letters I have written that our
choices are limited to requesting from Superintendent Ron Blocker , to place FS
1001.364 on the next agenda for a vote by the board.
The only way to hope for a chance of some authoritative accountability by any
board member or members who avoid duties and choose to take no
actions to avoid blame or praise is to place a real county wide elected chair as
FS 1001.364 would allow.
It is evident that most of these individuals are grossly over compensated based
on the amount of concern they show towards problems affecting our schools and
base on how they earn pay by ignoring City, Communities, and individual problems
and neglecting to listen or represent the community they represent.
Just 1 out of 7 Orange County Board members considered the thousands
of hours spent by House, Senate & Executive branch of government an
important topic to even mention it during the last meeting.

I suggest based on the facts I explain in this document the following
the City of Ocoee drafts a Resolution at the next available meeting
Demanding that Superintendent Ron Blocker that FS 1001.364
(2) a) "The district school board may adopt a formal resolution that the
proposition be placed on the ballot" be placed on the next agenda July 24th
2006 for a vote by the board. To allow all residents of
orange county and the City of Ocoee a chance to speak at the meeting
as a Schedule Agenda item.
We further demand from Superintendent Ron Blocker that Resolutions 2005-009
& 2005-010 be schedule in advance with a 2-4 week notice to the Ocoee School
Advisory Board first monday of the month meeting and be placed on a not too
distant future agenda.
The city would expect a response 24 hr after return receipt confirmation.
This resolution should take effect immediately
I would include copies to people who can explain the bill:
